Back Office training ProgrammeIn the Autumn of 2008 EFET (the European Federation of Energy Traders) commissioned MJMEnergy to develop a specialist online Back Office Training Programme. Working in collaboration with an EFET review group drawn from RBSSempra, Total, Vattenfall, RWE and Electrabel, MJMEnergy launched the BOTP on EFET’s 10th Anniversary, 22nd April 2009.
The Back Office Training Programme is designed to be a web-based resource that staff from many energy trading companies can utilise to gain understanding of the key principles and practice of energy trading Back Office operations.
The BOTP has been developed for EFET to offer access on a subscription-basis. However, the introduction page for each module and the first five pages of Module 4: Energy Market Risks, are open access so that interested parties can gain a view of the course content before they subscribe. Subscription is on per company basis, and may be for 1, 5 or unlimited users. The cost of the subscription is:
